Sérgio runs the operations and some of the Running Tours: during the last 20 years he experienced many kinds of running events and races: city marathons, long trail running races, orienteering events... However, there's not a drop of competitiveness in him, he does it just for the fun and self-accomplishment!
He's fully engaged with this micro local business which he started in 2015, 'obsessed' with creating value for all visiting runners and in generating meaningful relationships with Porto's running community and other like-minded local businesses. A running tour in Porto with Sérgio will never be 'just another run'! |

At Porto Running Tours (PRT) we take running quite seriously, even if we are not professional athletes. What really drives us is the pleasure we get from meeting new energized people and share a good workout outdoors, while we show them around and help them enjoy the city to the fullest!
Our aim is to provide a sightseeing/informative experience in an environmentally friendly way, by means of an healthy and ancestral activity called 'running'!
We feel lucky to live in such a fascinating city and therefore want respect Porto's built and cultural heritage, as much as we respect people with inquisitive minds who visit us and want to dive deeper in Portugal's history or present social and political context.
Knowledgeable, young at mind, cheerful people who run and are proud of their city - that's what we look for when we hire our running guides!
