​WHAT EXACTLY IS A RUNNING TOuR?
​

Running tour: an informal guided running activity in the stop&go format!  In this tour, you will get to experience the least obvious running routes within the historic city centre of Porto, with the help of a local runner who knows the city - and its History - like the back of his hand.

• ​Distance: aprox. 10 km

 

• Meeting point: RUNNERS/RUNNERS Clinic - Local sports store - Rua do Bonjardim, 510 (link)

 

• Short stop for coffee /specialty coffee tasting at 7g Roaster in Gaia

 

• Cost: 10.00 Eur./per person - payment details will follow soon as we reach the minimum number of registered participants

 

• Max: 8 participants/ minimum 3 participants.
• Please notice: the running tour will be conducted in English.​
• We will be running in public space, city streets and sidewalks, therefore no insurance is required by law for this activity.

WHO'S THIS FOR?

The activity is designed for regular runners from other countries who may have recently moved to Porto or that, living in Porto for a while now, want to know more about the city and its culture and origins. Because of the nature of this activity, we will not get into deep historical details, rather we'll focus on short stories and characters who lived and earned their place in the heart of every Portuense.  

In order to regroup, explain some aspect of a buiding or a less recognizable skyline element, have some water or the occasional group photo, we will make short stops every 2 kms or so. This means you don't have to be a professional athlete or super fit to complete one of these tours.
