Porto is always a good idea
It's that time of the year : public Christmas lights were switched on last Saturday - the official kick-start to the holiday cheer here in Porto. For runners visiting the city during this season we prepared something special, too...!

â Throughout the afternoon, last Saturday, downtown was closed to traffic & packed with people there for the concerts, street performances by choirs, musicians and other artists. A fun day for 'kids' of all ages.

Lisa, Kati and Michel enjoying their evening running tour in Porto during November.
If you let the stories and street lights warm your heart, the running will do the same for the rest of your body! You'll also earn the right to stuff your face starting with some delicious 'bolo-rei' and probably ending with a few Port wine-soaked 'rabanadas'...!

You're still in time to plan your weekend city break in Porto. Late fall/Winter's weather in this part of the Iberian peninsula is rather unpredictable though temperatures will never drop below zero Celsius - there's never actually any snow. Regardless of cold, one thing's for sure: there's no warmer welcome than the one you'll be offered by the people of Porto!
Feliz Natal a todos! Happy holidays everyone! Share this with your christmas loving friendsComments are closed.
